DIY multi-tasking

Our wee boys are on their summer holiday at Grannys house so, instead of relaxing, we are DIYing fulltime.  This includes me doing my bit on my usual mummy days so today has found me with steamer in hand and trying to clear the last of the dreaded woodchip from the kitchen ceiling.

It is the ultimate in worst DIY jobs ever.  Having been steaming and scraping for over an hour, I still have only managed to clear a strip of about 1 metre wide - hence the break to blog!

It hasn't all been in vain.  In the last hour I have also had a steam-facial and cleared my sinuses - now where's the menthol oil before I start the steamer again........
